Look Of The Day: Molly Simmers

Actress Molly Simms attended the 13th Annual Webby Awards at Cipriani in NYC wearing a shocking pink sequined mini dress. I'm not sure who designed it but I love the color. I also like Molly's choice of a nude peep toe pump. The color compliments her outfit without trying too hard.

I love the African inspired bangles, they can give any chic wardrobe an instant boost. A little accesory can go a long way. I also adore the polka dot shorts, they're the perfect length! The "Lola" top has an urban style that can be dressed up for a party or dressed down for relaxing.

Looks to Love: Chanel Iman

Model Chanel Iman has legs for days! Like Beyonce said "If you got it, flaunt it!" She's thin, and it works for her. Chanel always manages to look "effortlessly chic" in everything she puts on and I love it. She's a great reference for smooth spring style.

Jesus knocked my socks off!

Model Jesus Luz has got the be the sexiest thing on two legs right now. (Sorry I couldn't help myself) Reported boy toy of Madonna walked in the Jeffrey Fashion Cares show modeling a black Givenchy tuxedo jacket, a Devon Scott tuxedo shirt, white Gucci jeans and black Pierre Hardy sandals. (WORK!)

I need these pieces, I love the vest, it looks "Micheal Jackson"-ish. The strap on the blue dress is removable ( I think it shouldn't have been there in the first place) I don't know which color aviators I like most. I wish I could get them all, but I'm learning towards purple. And the scarf?..Gold Lurex = Love.

Wear thigh skimming boots without the hooker vibe

Paris Fashion week,Marc Jacobs shows us how to wear thigh length boots without looking like a woman working the corner. The trick is VOLUME on top, and lots of it, loose hair and sharp and minimal make-up is good too. No more than 3 inches of thigh revealed and no tight tops. Good luck ladies, if you have the body, rock it, since I'm exactly 5 feet tall I won't be wearing knee-length boots, they swallow me whole! With that said I still like the thought of them.

I'm feeling Mary K. She's giving us color blocking, graphics, great jewelery,and my all time favorite, transparency. The colors really pop and beats the hell out of a LBD any day. Mary made her debut at London Fashion week last month showcasing sheath dresses with graphics inspired by fragrance bottles. What do you guys think?

Looks to Love: Balmain Spring 09

OK, so everyone is drooling over Fall 09 right now, I'm being realistic, I'm working on my spring stuff. I read an article about Christophe Decarnin in my January Harpers Bazaar and how he jolted the Balmain named back to life. IT'S FANTASTIC! And it's my style wrapped into one, nice jeans, tough jacket, simple top, and some slammin shoes! Thanks Cristophe, can I call you Chris? This is a start to a beautiful relationship. I did a little fast fashion looking around to try to emulate the look, it's not as edgy but here's what I came up with. What do you guys think??

Looks to Love: Baby Phat Spring 09

I currently don't own anything Baby Phat and I never have but since we have to be ressionista fashionistas these days I don't mind heading to Macy's Jr's department to cop these looks. I usually feel like Baby Phat clothes look tacky and have a terrible fit, I'm not a fan of big logos in foil either. Unfortunately I have a fatal attraction to Kimora Lee, I REALLY like her, maybe it's un-natural, I even read her book "Fabulosity" from cover to cover. I'm definitely feeling these spring 09 looks. They arn't too bad as long as that damn kitty logo doesn't show up anywhere. I like the femininity of the lace and the lavender color in the two dresses, and Ombre skinnys are kind of appealing to me. What do you guys think?

Max Azria made the right move by purchasing Herve Leger back in 1998 because since the line of body-con dresses have shot off into fashion stardom. If it's mini and tight, I LOVE it. These are my favorite looks and the hairstyles compliment the Urban Glamazon look Azria's got going on. "For Fall the designers wanted to move to "the beat of an urban tribe," so they chose a muted Saharan palette and successfully played with texture through weaving and insets of exotic skins". I adore the gray printed mini dress with the boxy shoulders. It's 80's with a modern appeal and I would definitely wear it with ease. I love automatic style outfits. What do you guys think of the collection?

Looks To Love: Jasmin Di Milo

I was browsing style.com yesterday and I came across these exits by Jasmin Di Milo. Kerry Washington and Rihanna recently wore pieces from her previous collections last week and they looked great so on grew my curiosity for the designer. What I found made me very happy, my absolute favorite is the black shorts with the orange top. I think its a one piece, although I'm not sure. I love the cuts and the geometric shapes, it reminds me of the 80's and 90's style that I'm accustomed too. If I could afford it, I would buy it because I love style "in-a- snap" outfits, you know, outfits where you don't have to work very hard on. The search is on for a low- priced look alike.What do you guys think?
